Full Member: A person signing up for KYA wishing to become a member and being part of a group consisting of 16,500 members. When a member of the group passes away, KYA collects $6.00 per orphaned child from each member of the group for the unfortunate family.
 
Sponsor: Many times people sign into the program simple for the Mitzvah aspect of supporting Almanos and Yesomim, and are not interested in receiving any benefits from the rest of their group should that situation arise.  This benevolent and altruistic membership gets indicated on the policy application as sponsor, so KYA can process it properly
